About Coach Jarvis Johnson

Currently serving as Running Backs coach and Basketball assistant at Northwest HS (TX). Nothing excites me more than seeing people reach their God-given potential. Whether on the field or in life, my goal is to have a positive impact and to help people discover the patience and persistence required to overcome and achieve. As a coach, I’ve found that connection and positive relationship instills confidence in athletes and confidence is contagious. Every great team begins with confident and connected individuals. I believe these teams are built through courage hard work, organization, and creativity.

Before coming to joining Northwest High School, I had the opportunity to be Assistant Head Coach, recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Cedar Park High School, Offensive coordinator at Colleyville Heritage HS, and Varsity Assistant at Duncanville High School. During my coaching career I have been fortunate to be part of multiple playoff appearances, many winning regular seasons, numerous regional appearances, and multiple college signings during my tenure.
